Miracles

I used to think that unless I saw that hand of God reach down and part the waters of the great sea, with my very own eyes that miracles didn’t exist.  Not real miracles. Not the kind you read about in the bible that seem so dramatic that not even the most cynical soul could deny.

I’ve come to learn over the years, with Heavenly Father gently pushing just what a miracle is and why the quiet ones that take places in corners, happen all around us and that if we just but look, can see them.

I’m not sure when I experienced my first true miracle, but in the last five years I have come to recognize them with a lot more clarity.  And if you are a non believer, I would strongly suggest that you take a real look around the world with a different set of specks.

Our miracle seemed quite dramatic and evidentiary. Our little boy was critically ill. Just born, new, pink. Ill. Through the miricle of modern medicne and technology, the hearts and souls of the doctors, nurses and staff, we were able to watch Ethan battle his illnesses, and survive.  That is the “whole” miracle. Inside that big scoop were tiny little wonders, as well.

I believe that we as a group can help miracles happen. Bring them to fruition. Be a part of something bigger than ourselves.

Suzie Petunia one of my longest blog reading friends, has a sister who is in need of a miracle.  Welcome to project Baby Rhodsebud.

Please take a few minutes and read about this project. It is an incredibly touching story and I am grateful to be able to share it with you.
